Bird Surveys

Do you need a bird survey?

Bird Surveys are often required to inform a planning application, and sometimes we are involved with monitoring surveys where the aim is to survey the bird populations present in an area.

Surveys can come in many shapes and sizes and are often tailored to meet the requirements of the species in question or the type of habitat or development under investigation.  Here we summarise the two most common types of survey - if you would like to find out more about these or more specialised bird survey requirements, then please get in touch
Huckle Ecology is a professional ecological consultancy based on the Norfolk Suffolk border, providing expert advice on ecology and biodiversity throughout East Anglia, England and the UK. We undertake surveys for habitats and protected species, as well as providing ecological appraisals and impact assessments to inform planning applications.
