Wind Turbine on Kirkby Moor, Cumbria

Kirkby Moor Wind Farm

Jon Huckle has been involved with a proposed repowering of the current Kirkby Moor Wind Farm for nearly four years, including designing and undertaking ecology surveys and developing a Habitat Management Plan for the site, which is located within a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The project has involved complex assessment of ecological impacts as part of a multidisciplinary project team, and extensive consultations with the statutory body, Natural England, to agree an acceptable mitigation strategy.

Proposed residential development site in Bunwell, Norfolk

Housing development, Norfolk

Jon was asked to prepare an Ecological report, for a small site in Norfolk - this was for a single dwelling in a village in South Norfolk.  By recommending a pragmatic set of mitigation measures that followed best practice procedures, a cost effective solution was developed. The result has been a planning consent and a happy client.
